Job summary

Zendo is building an Energy OS platform in London to optimize data centre power and capacity. You will own the full data lifecycle—from raw data to predictive models powering capacity optimisation and real-time economic decisions.

Join a founding team on the ground floor, with equity and a hybrid work pattern (1–2 days/week from London coworking spaces). You will work directly with the founders and our Founding Engineer to deliver measurable impact.

Qualifications

• MS or higher in statistics or machine learning, or equivalent experience (3-5 years in the field).
• Experience building and evaluating predictive models with a focus on accuracy.
• Strong time-series background with high-frequency, real-world data.
• Experience taking models to production, not just in notebooks.
• Excellent communication to explain model behavior to non-technical stakeholders.
• Understanding of energy markets or data center operations.

Responsibilities

• Workload forecasting to predict data centre power demand accurately.
• Develop capacity-optimisation models with robust statistical rigour.
• Build real-time economic models linking capacity to commercial outcomes.
• Collaborate with engineering to productionize models on live customer data.
