Job summary

Orange Recruitment in Halifax is sourcing a Food Ingredients Mixer for a day shift role. You will operate the ribbon mixer, weigh ingredients, and ensure all processes comply with health, safety and hygiene regulations.

Hours are 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday, 6.00am–2.00pm with breaks; training is ongoing and PPE must be worn. You will maintain clean working records and stock control as required.

Responsibilities

• Every process and activity are carried out in accordance with company policy & Procedures.
• Every process and activity are carried out in accordance with the health & safety regulations.
• The correct PPE is always worn, and the food and hygiene regulations are applied.
• Ensure the ribbon/V mixer machines are correctly set up.
• Collect all the required equipment & empty barrels for the shift
• Only use the ingredients that has been allocated and is in the picking area.
• Refer to the MO number; weigh the ingredients into the mixer. Mix for 25 minutes
• Sieve the finished product into clean food safe bags, label and store.
• Return all the unused ingredients, weigh and return to stock.
• Maintain a clean and tidy working environment.
• Follow the cleaning procedures, paying special attention when allergens have been used.
• Complete and maintain production and cleaning records.

• You will be required to fulfil other duties and roles during your working hours.
• You are required to always wear the correct uniform & PPE.
