MBDA Missile Systems seeks a skilled systems engineer to contribute to Mission Planning products for domestic and export customers. The role emphasizes cross-border collaboration with MBDA-France and external partners, with opportunities for international travel and diverse project exposure.

The candidate should have a background in systems engineering, experience with DOORS, and strong analytical problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Understanding of System Engineering Process is essential with recent experience in a systems engineering role.
• Experience in tools for Requirements Capture and Control (e.g. DOORS) and Configuration Management.
• Ability to communicate and work effectively in a collaborative environment spanning multiple teams and locations.
• Experience of technical problem solving and strong analytical thinking.
• General understanding of mission planning principles would be beneficial.

MBDA Missile Systems - Deliver for a more secure tomorrow An opportunity has arisen to join an enthusiastic, driven and dynamic team, working across international boundaries who are focussed on delivering a variety of Mission Planning products for key domestic and export customers across many domains including One-Way Effectors, Tactical Strike Weapons and through to Deep and Extended-Deep Strike Weapon Systems.

Salary: Circa to £46k - £57k depending on experience

Dynamic (hybrid) working: 3-4 days per week on-site due to workload classification

Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:

You will be working on Mission Planning products for key domestic and export customers across a wide range of Missile Mission sets. The department is closely coupled with MBDA-France and as such, there is a strong emphasis on strong international working, providing opportunity for some travel and exposure across the French side of our business.
