Salary

£23,495

Dynamic (Hybrid) Working

3-4 days per week on-site due to workload classification

Security Clearance

British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity

Our Test Architects collaborate with a wide range of technical functions to provide direct input towards project delivery across the business. Drawing on a wealth of internal knowledge, they drive a coherent top‑level design of our systems bringing together insights from across the company.

In this undergraduate placement you'll be involved in:

  • Supporting the production testing of missiles, specifying the testing, and managing test coverage vs cost trade‑offs and working with the manufacturing team to implement a safe and effective test routine

  • Influencing missile built‑in‑test (BIT) requirements and conducting test coverage analysis, ensuring the missile is able to test itself effectively for faults throughout its lifecycle

  • Helping develop Missile Test Equipment solutions from initial specification through to system design and delivery
