A leading defence organization in Stevenage is seeking a Test Architect for a 1-year placement starting September 2026. This role involves collaborating with multiple technical functions to support missile testing and ensure rigorous quality assurance. Responsibilities include developing test equipment solutions and influencing testing requirements. Ideal candidates are pursuing a degree in Electrical/Electronic or Systems Engineering and possess strong problem-solving and project management skills. Our Test Architects collaborate with a wide range of technical functions to provide direct input towards project delivery across the business. Drawing on a wealth of internal knowledge, they drive a coherent top-level design of our systems bringing together insights from across the company.

Working towards a degree in an Electrical/Electronic or Systems Engineering discipline (or similar)

Salary: £23,495 Dynamic (Hybrid) Working: 3-4 days per week on-site due to workload classification Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
