Full time, 37 hours per week

£25,685 per annum

Join Burton and South Derbyshire College as an MIS Administrator, where your skills will play a pivotal role in supporting the seamless operation of our Management Information Services (MIS). As an MIS Administrator, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness of learner records, enrolments, timetables, and more. Working closely with the Deputy Head of Business Intelligence and Data Manager, you’ll deliver top‑tier service that keeps our MIS team running like clockwork.

Your work will directly support students and staff, ensuring our college operates at its best whilst being part of a collaborative and supportive team dedicated to excellence. We’re committed to your growth, offering continuous professional development opportunities.

You’ll excel in this role if you have :

  • Strong skills in word processing and spreadsheets.
  • The ability to work independently in a busy environment with precision and accuracy.
  • A can‑do attitude and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • A team‑player mindset with excellent interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
  • Desirable but not essential: Experience with college MIS systems like EBS and a background in further education.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate curriculum, timetable, and register data.
  • Support staff with data queries and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with audit and data integrity standards.
  • Assist with enrolment processes.

Applicants should be qualified to, or willing to work towards, Level 2 English and Maths. Evidence of qualifications is required.
