Job summary

The Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking three Minibus Drivers on a sessional, as-needed basis at the Berkshire College of Agriculture campus to transport staff and students across Berkshire campuses.

You must hold a valid D1 licence; experience with larger vehicles is desirable. Duties include vehicle cleaning, basic maintenance, and delivering or collecting vehicles from service dealerships as required to meet demand.

Job description

The Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for three Minibus Drivers to join our team at the Berkshire College of Agriculture campus. This is a sessional contract offered on an 'as and when required' basis depending on demand, with a rate of pay of £16.79 per hour on Support Staff Scale G19, which is inclusive of holiday pay. There are no fixed or guaranteed hours. The hours outlined below are indicative of the typical requirements for the role and are not guaranteed. When work is available, you may be required to work up to 3 hours per day, Monday to Friday. This may involve working either the morning shift (07:30 to 09:00), the evening shift (16:00 to 17:30), or both shifts on the same day, depending on operational requirements and demand.

Minibus Driver

This role requires the successful candidate to safely transport staff and students to various locations across the Berkshire area and the campuses of the Windsor Forest Colleges Group. You will be responsible for the transport of staff and students to and from the BCA campus daily, cleaning the vehicles, carrying out basic maintenance, delivering and collecting vehicles from service dealerships and completing deliveries on behalf of the college.

You must hold a valid D1 class driver's licence. It is also desirable that you have experience of driving HGV or PSV class vehicles and of working as a driver responsible for transporting more than 7 occupants at a time.
