Were Recruiting for Vertas School Minibus Driver (Private Hire Driver) Location : Unit 40 Fred Castle Way, Rougham Industrial Estate, IP30 9ND Hours : 25 hours / week (Monday to Friday, term time only) Shift Pattern : 2x shifts daily Approx 06 : 3009 : 00 and 14 : 3017 : 00 Pay : £12.71 per hour Weeks : 39 weeks per year About Us Vertas is one of the fastest-growing multi-service facilities management companies in the UK.

The Role

We are seeking dedicated School Minibus Drivers (Private Hire Drivers) to join our Passenger Transport team, providing vital home‑to‑school transport services for children many with special educational needs. This role offers meaningful, part‑time work within your local community.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transporting children from home to school and back
• Ensuring pupils are collected and dropped off securely and punctually
• Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle
• Following safeguarding and duty‑of‑care procedures at all times

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence (clean preferred)
• Valid West Suffolk Private Hire Licence (or willingness to obtain one)
• Professional, reliable, and caring approach
• Previous driving or customer service experience desirable
• If you do not currently hold a Private Hire Licence, successful xsabvtc applicants must agree to a training bond
