Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting for Minibus Drivers in Rochester/Medway. This Monday to Friday role requires a D1 entitlement, but no minibus driving experience is needed. You will transport SEN adults and children to and from schools and day centers with a Passenger Assistant, with full training provided.

Shifts are split: 06:00–09:00 and 13:00–16:00, totaling 30 hours per week. The position offers 28 days holiday, flexible working, DBS (on request) and 24/7 support from The Best Connection.

Qualifications

• No minibus driving experience required.
• D1 (101) entitlement on driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Transport SEN adults and children to and from schools and day centers in the Medway towns.
• Work alongside a Passenger Assistant.
• Full training provided, including wheelchair lift and safety procedures.
• Temp to Perm opportunity.
• Split shift: 3 hours morning and 3 hours afternoon.
• AM Shift: 06:00–09:00, PM Shift: 13:00–16:00.
• 30 hours per week guaranteed (5 days).

Pay

• £13.19 per hour
• Guaranteed 6 hours per day (working both the AM and PM shift)
• Weekly pay

The Role:

• Transporting SEN adults and children to and from schools and day centers across the Medway towns
• Working alongside a Passenger Assistant
• Full training provided, including wheelchair lift and safety procedures
• Temp to Perm opportunity
• You will be working a split shift, 3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the afternoon
• AM Shift: 06:00 - 09:00 & PM Shift: 13:00 - 16:00
• 30 hours per week guaranteed (6 hours per day)

Shift pattern is Monday to Friday
