Job summary

Headington School Oxford is seeking an experienced minibus driver for an afternoon schedule to operate a home-to-school transport route, collecting and delivering pupils to and from various pick-up points.

You will be expected to hold a clean D1 category licence, demonstrate reliability and timekeeping, and meet safeguarding requirements including DBS checks. Training such as First Aid and Driver CPC may be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Clean current driving licence including category D1 required or advantageous.
• Experience in a similar role preferred.
• Excellent timekeeping and interpersonal skills essential.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced minibus driver to safely operate a home to school transport route, collecting and delivering pupils to and from various pick-up points. We offer excellent flexibility to suit your lifestyle and existing commitments, and we are considering candidates for afternoons only (approximately 3:00 PM – 6:30 PM).

You must hold a clean current driving licence including at least category D1. Experience in a similar role would be advantageous. You will be well-presented, reliable and have excellent timekeeping and interpersonal skills. Additional training will be provided where necessary including First Aid, Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence), MiDAS - Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme).
