Job summary

Havant & South Downs College is seeking a reliable mini bus driver to operate college minibuses according to schedules and to maintain vehicles and required documentation to the highest standards.

The role supports across campus teams, delivering Midas training and flexible overtime for events, ensuring a customer-focused service aligned with the college's aims.

Qualifications

• Valid Driving Licence with D1 endorsement or equivalent training.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Diligent, professional and flexible.

Responsibilities

• To drive the college vehicles in line with schedules, as directed by the Educational Visit Co-ordinators.
• To maintain the colleges vehicles ensuring high standards of cleanliness (internally and externally) and roadworthiness, reporting all defects immediately to the Educational Visit Co-ordinators.
• To maintain records as required by the Educational Visit Co-ordinators e.g. vehicle log sheets, mileage logs, check sheets
• To work overtime as required to cover the driving schedule, including college Open Evenings and Awards Evenings.
• To support with the delivery of Midas training and supporting this with the college driver team across all campuses.
• When driving schedules slacken, and under instruction from the Educational Visit Co-ordinators, augment cross campus teams with delivering and postal runs.

We have a great opportunity for a mini bus driver to join our team. The position is to drive the College minibuses as directed, maintaining the vehicles and all required documentation to the highest of standards.
