Hurworth School is seeking a reliable minibus driver on a fixed-term basis to help move pupils to and from school, with a morning collection before the day starts and safeguarding duties.

The role is 10 hours a week, Monday to Friday, with training provided for any required licences; applicants must already have the right to work in the UK.

The school offers a supportive team and opportunities for professional development and coaching; a DBS check is part of the eligibility requirements.

Qualifications

• Full, clean driving licence.
• At least 2 years' driving experience.
• Eligible to work in the UK.

This is a fixed-term minibus driving post at Hurworth School, running to 31 July 2027 with a start as soon as possible. The work is moving pupils to and from school safely, with a morning collection before the day begins and the safeguarding duties that come with it. The post is 10 hours a week, Monday to Friday, and a D1 licence is not needed because the school trains for it. Visa sponsorship is not available, so applicants must already have the right to work in the UK.
