Job summary

Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dynamic Mental Health Practitioner to join the CYPS Mindworks Hub East. You will work with children and young people experiencing psychological distress, delivering assessments and interventions within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

We require professional registration with NMC, HCPC or SWE and substantial experience with under 18s. The role focuses on timely interventions and risk support, with opportunities to supervise

Are you a dynamic and enthusiastic Mental Health Practitioner? Do you want to join our Children and Young People's Services (CYPS) now known as Mindworks Hub East. Our CYPS Mindworks Hub East is a are highly supportive, friendly and innovative team covering the East of Surrey (Leatherhead and Redhill). As part of our i-THRVE framework, this team is focused on Getting More Help and Risk Support to Children and Young people. You would join a strong multidisciplinary team offering assessments and interventions to children and young people experiencing psychological distress, emotional and mental health difficulties as well as providing support to our Partner Agencies.

We are seeking those professionally registered with NMC, HCPC or SWE and have significant experience of working with under 18yr olds

My job makes better lives by providing timely interventions that contribute to the care of young people with mental health problems and their families. I will put the experience of the CYP using the service at the centre of my decision making whilst building a supportive and responsive relationship with colleagues.
