Yolk Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a respected UK law firm to recruit junior solicitors for its military claims practice in Cardiff, offering hybrid working from the Cardiff office.

You will manage your own caseload across claimant litigation, with exposure to noise-induced hearing loss and Ministry of Defence claims, while developing technical expertise and progressing quickly in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Background in claimant litigation or personal injury is essential.
• Experience with noise-induced hearing loss or military claims is beneficial but not required.
• Confident managing a caseload and communicating with clients.
• Organised, detail-focused and commercially aware.

Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload of military-related claims with minimal supervision.
• Taking initial instructions and drafting witness evidence.
• Reviewing and managing large volumes of disclosure.
• Assessing medical evidence and expert reports.
• Preparing court documentation and schedules of loss.
• Liaising with clients, counsel and experts.
• Advising on breach of duty, liability and quantum.
• Supervising junior team members and paralegals where required.
