Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL in Highbridge, Somerset is seeking a MIG Welder for a temporary to permanent role. You will join an established manufacturing team, working four days a week with 37 hours, Friday off. The role is based in Highbridge and primarily involves MIG welding of mild and stainless steel.

You will perform MIG welding, prepare materials, and inspect work to ensure high quality. Training in stainless steel welding and codings may be provided to develop your skills within the company.

Qualifications

• Previous MIG welding experience in manufacturing, engineering or fabrication.
• Experience welding mild steel is required.
• Stainless steel welding experience is advantageous but training may be provided.
• Willingness to develop welding codings in-house.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MIG welding and fabrication work as part of the manufacturing process.
• Prepare materials and components for welding and inspect finished work.
• Work to required quality and specifications, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment with the team.
