Job summary

AMS People Limited is seeking a MIG welder for a permanent day shift in our manufacturing facility in the United Kingdom. You will perform production welding on a variety of components, using jigs and fixtures, and fabricate assemblies to high dimensional accuracy.

You will inspect your work, adhere to health and safety standards, and contribute to a collaborative production environment while developing skills in a growing, market-leading company.

Qualifications

• MIG welding experience with dimensional accuracy (1 year+).
• Willingness to develop welding and fabrication skills.

Tasks

In this role you will carrying out production welding on a variety of components as well as using jigs and fixtures to fabricate a range of assemblies.

You will inspect your work to ensure all appropriate standards are met and work to company health and safety standards at all times as well as contributing to the production environment in other ways when required.

Skills needed

To apply for this role you should:

• Have experience of MIG or similar welding techniques (1 year+) working on products requiring a good level of dimensional accuracy.
• Be enthusiastic and keen to develop your skills further.
• Be reliable, consistent and self-motivated, keen to work as part of a team.
• Work with efficiency and accuracy following engineering drawings and work instructions.
