Job summary

Position Details

MIG Welder

Location: 15 minute drive from Evesham

Salary: £18 per hour

Hours: Day Shift | Overtime available at 1.5 (up to 15 hours per week)

Benefits: 33 days paid holiday + Pension + Wellness Program + Xmas shutdown + onsite parking + training fund

Responsibilities
  • Carrying out MIG welding on mild steel up to 8mm, and occasionally up to 20mm
  • Fabricating oil tanks and associated components to a high standard
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and cut lists accurately
  • Performing vertical, flat, and overhead welds with good penetration and clean finish
  • Using hand tools and fabrication equipment confidently
Qualifications / Experience
  • Previous experience in MIG welding in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
  • Strong understanding of welding positions and techniques
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Willingness to work overtime as required
