Job summary

Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Norfolk seeks a committed midwife to implement and deliver evidence-based midwifery care across antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal periods, in hospital, community and home settings. You will work autonomously within the maternity team to meet national standards and the needs of women and families.

Job description

As the successful candidate for this position, you will have an important role within the maternity team to implement and carry out midwifery care in line with the national agenda. You will work closely with the maternity teams team to ensure the needs of women and their families are met, whilst also meeting national standards.

You will be responsible as an autonomous practitioner, for providing individualised and personalised midwifery care packages, whilst using specialist knowledge to continually assess, analyse and determine the appropriate course of action for a designated client group.

You will be expected to provide high quality evidence-based midwifery care and advice antenatally, intrapartum and postnatally, in a variety of setting across your maternity service which may including hospital, community and home settings.
