About the Role

This is a start‑up role, fast‑moving, hands‑on and filled with creative freedom. You will work closely with the founder to shape how ShopHomeStyles looks and feels across every touchpoint.

Your mission is to bring our brand to life visually. Think elevated, design‑led, quietly aspirational. You will design assets across social, Pinterest, email, on‑site editorial and campaign moments, while building a cohesive system that makes the brand instantly recognisable as we scale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Brand and Campaign Design : Create high‑impact visuals for launches, seasonal edits, partnerships and growth campaigns.
  • Social and Pinterest Creative : Design templates and content for Instagram and Pinterest, including feed posts, story frames, pin designs, covers and simple motion concepts.
  • Email and On‑site Visuals : Design newsletter headers, modules, promotional tiles and editorial assets that feel polished and shoppable.
  • Template Systems : Build a flexible template library that keeps output fast, consistent and on‑brand across formats.
  • Design Direction Support : Contribute to evolving the visual identity, tone, typography, layout rules and overall brand world.
  • Asset Management : Keep files organised, versioned and easy to hand over (Figma skills are a must), with clear naming and structure.
About You
  • You have a strong portfolio that shows taste, layout, typography and restraint, with a modern editorial sensibility.
  • You are confident designing for digital‑first formats and understand what performs on social and Pinterest without sacrificing brand quality.
  • You are fast, organised and proactive, comfortable owning work end‑to‑end in a start‑up environment.
  • You can take a loose brief and turn it into sharp, considered design, then iterate quickly.
  • Ideally you have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, but your eye, craft and energy matter most.
