Job summary

Illuminate Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Midweight Graphic Designer for an in-house role in Chelmsford. You will work with a collaborative marketing team to produce high-quality print and digital assets across multiple brands.

The successful candidate will have at least four years of professional graphic design experience, a strong portfolio, and advanced Adobe Creative Cloud skills (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).

Qualifications

• Minimum four years' professional graphic design experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating both print and digital design work.
• Advanced Adobe Creative Cloud skills, particularly InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, colour and visual hierarchy.
• Excellent print production and artwork preparation experience.
• Experience creating digital assets for web, email, social media and advertising campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver creative assets across print and digital channels.
• Create brochures, direct mail, advertising campaigns, signage, publications and marketing collateral.
• Develop digital content for websites, social media, email campaigns and online advertising.
• Take creative briefs from concept through to completed artwork.
• Ensure all creative work is delivered to brand guidelines and high-quality standards.
• Prepare production-ready artwork and liaise with external suppliers where required.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Support campaign planning with creative ideas and design input.
• Maintain organised artwork, files and creative assets.

Are you an experienced Graphic Designer looking for a varied in-house role where you can make a visible impact across multiple brands and marketing channels? Our client is seeking a talented Midweight Graphic Designer to join their established marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and commercially minded designer with a strong portfolio and at least four years' professional experience. Working closely with a collaborative marketing team, you will create high-quality design work across both print and digital platforms, taking projects from concept through to final delivery.

• Salary £32,000 - £38,000 dependent on experience
• Fully office-based role in Chelmsford
• Working hours: 8:30am - 6:00pm
• Opportunity to work from home one day per week after successful completion of a six-month probation period
