Qualifications

  • Around 4+ years experience as a Midweight Designer, ideally in beauty, skincare, or consumer brand environments.

Skin + Me is a mission driven start-up with seriously big skin goals.

We’re looking for an experienced Midweight Designer to join our Creative Team at Skin + Me. This is a hybrid working role with three days a week in our Paddington HQ (Mon, Tue, Fri) and two days remote.

About the role

We’re looking for a hands‑on Midweight Graphic Designer to join the Skin + Me Creative Team. You’ll concept, execute and deliver artwork across both print and digital – from paid social campaigns and CRM to retail VM and packaging. You’ll work closely with Growth, Copy, Retail and Commercial teams to bring ideas to life that elevate our brand and drive performance.

This role suits someone who enjoys both conceptual thinking and detailed execution, and who is confident working both autonomously and collaboratively. Experience in beauty or a visually led consumer brand is highly beneficial.

The ideal candidate will have around 4+ years experience as a Midweight Designer, and have previously worked in the beauty industry.

What you’ll do
  • Work closely with internal teams to deliver impactful, on‑brand creative that aligns with our company goals.
  • Conceptualise and produce digital artwork across digital and print touchpoints (paid social, email, landing pages, OOH, retail assets, affiliates, organic social).
  • Create print‑ready artwork including packaging and promotional collateral (packaging, PR events collateral, VM for Retail).
  • Support on‑brand campaign photoshoots: moodboarding, pre‑production, props and sample sourcing, on‑set support and post‑production.
  • Champion brand guidelines for consistency and quality across every channel.
  • Provide guidance and feedback to junior designers when needed.
Who you are

  • Around 4+ years experience as a Designer (midweight level), ideally in beauty, skincare, lifestyle or consumer brand environments.
  • Passionate about producing high performing ads as you are about brand campaigns.
  • You have a strong portfolio showcasing campaign execution and digital‑first thinking.
  • Proficiency in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
  • Premier Pro, After Effects for basic animation and video editing.
  • Experience producing print‑ready artwork (packaging experience a big plus).
  • Curiosity and a willingness to learn, especially around new creative tools — including AI‑assisted workflows that can enhance concepting, visual exploration, and process efficiency.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisation and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and work at pace within a fast‑moving start‑up environment.
  • A collaborative mindset and a proactive, can‑do approach.
