Job summary

The Bread Factory in Manchester is seeking a delivery driver to distribute fresh bakery products across local routes. You will carry responsibility for on-time delivery, safe handling, and accurate paperwork, working in a 45-hour week with an early start.

Candidates should hold a full, clean UK driving licence, be reliable and able to work independently, with strong knowledge of Manchester and a passion for great food and service. Location: Unit 4, Clayton Court, Openshaw, Manchester, M11 2NB.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of multi-drop delivery experience.
• Hold a full, clean UK driving licence.
• Strong communicator with excellent customer service.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Knowledge of Manchester and surrounding areas.
• Physically fit and able to handle loading and unloading.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fresh bakery products to customers on time and in full, following planned routes.
• Load and unload deliveries safely, maintaining product quality.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately, including confirmations and discrepancies.
• Keep vehicle clean, well maintained and report issues promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service, representing The Bread Factory professionally.
