A local primary school in Lichfield is seeking a Midday Supervisor to ensure the safety and welfare of pupils during lunchtime. The role involves supervising children, promoting positive behaviour, and encouraging creative play in a safe environment. Ideal candidates should have a caring attitude and good communication skills. This position is term-time only, offering a supportive environment for child development.
Location: St Stephens Primary School, Church Lane, Fradley, Lichfield, WS13 8NL
Salary: Grade 2 SCP3 £24,027 FTE actual salary £3,098.41 per annum (Grade 2, Scale Point 3)
Hours: 1 hour, 5 minutes per day, Monday to Friday, term-time only
Reports to: Senior Midday Supervisor / Headteacher
Job Purpose:
To supervise and ensure the safety, welfare, and good conduct of pupils during the lunchtime period, both inside the dining hall and in the playground or other school premises.

As a Midday Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting our OPAL approach by encouraging creative play, ensuring safety during outdoor activities, and helping to promote a culture of independence, cooperation, and fun.
