Job summary

St John's CE First School in Wimborne Minster is seeking a dedicated Midday Supervisor to join our lunchtime team. You will help supervise pupils, ensure safety and behaviour, and support with setting up and clearing tables.

The role is permanent, part-time, term-time only (8.33 hours per week, 38 weeks per year) with an actual salary of £4,833 per annum. Start date around 05-Oct-2026.

Qualifications

  • Lunch-time supervision of pupils during the midday period.
  • Assist with setting up and clearing away tables and chairs in the hall.
  • Support children in the lunch hall and supervise play on the playground.
  • Basic cleaning duties around the dining area.

St John's CE First School is looking for a Midday Supervisor to join our fantastic team. Could this be you?

Actual Salary £4,833 per annum (Grade 1)

This job is Part Time - Term Time Onlyfor 8.33 hours per week and 38 weeks per year, with a working pattern spread equally Monday to Friday, which may be subject to change according to business need.

It is offered on a Permanent basis.

Approximate start date 05-Oct-2026.

The role involves providing high quality supervision to ensure the safety, general welfare and behaviour of pupils during the lunchtime period. You will be required to assist with setting up and clearing away tables and chairs in the hall, supporting the children in the lunch hall, basic cleaning duties around the dining area and supervision of children when outside on the playground.
