A local school in Birmingham is seeking a Midday Supervisor to provide supervision of pupils during the lunchtime break. Responsibilities include ensuring students’ safety, assisting with dining etiquette, and positively interacting with pupils to develop their social skills. Ideal candidates will have experience working with children and ability to respond effectively to incidents. This part-time role corresponds with the school’s lunch hours.
Midday Supervisors are engaged on a part time basis to undertake supervision of pupils during the school’s lunchtime break. The extent of the supervision to be exercised includes the washing of hands, entry of pupils into the dining room, general help during the service of meals, assisting younger pupils in cutting up meat, general training in table manners and provide close supervision in the playground or classroom. Midday Supervisors are responsible to the Senior Midday Supervisor for the satisfactory performance of their duties. Normal hours of duty correspond with the school’s lunchtime break.
