Midday Supervisor - Part-Time

Start Date: After October Half Term Location: Sutton, South London Hours: 11:30am - 1:30pm (Monday to Friday, Term Time Only)
Contract: Part-Time

We are seeking a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Midday Supervisor to join our friendly team at an Ofsted Good, a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Sutton.

About the Role

You will be responsible for supervising children during the lunchtime period, both in the dining hall and playground, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting positive behaviour and good manners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervising pupils in the lunch hall, playground, and school premises.
  • Assisting with the organisation and serving of lunches where required.
  • Encouraging healthy eating and positive social interaction.
  • Managing behaviour in line with the school's behaviour policy.
  • Providing basic first aid (training will be provided if needed).
  • Reporting any concerns or incidents to senior staff.
We are looking for someone who
  • Enjoys working with children and has a caring, patient attitude.
  • Is punctual, reliable, and able to work well as part of a team.
  • Can use initiative and remain calm under pressure.
  • Has previous experience in a school or childcare setting (desirable, but not essential).
