Job summary

Chantlers Primary School in Bury is seeking a Midday Supervisor to join our friendly team. The role is to supervise pupils at lunchtime in the dining hall and on the KS1 and KS2 playgrounds.

The post is 6 hours 15 minutes per week, 12:00pm to 1:15pm, Monday to Friday, term time only, with salary £3,845. Applicants with first aid certificates are preferred, or willingness to undertake training.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children would be advantageous.
• Willingness to undertake first aid training if you do not already have a certificate.
• The role involves supervising lunchtime and playground areas for KS1/KS2.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils at lunchtime in the dining hall.
• Supervise KS1 and KS2 playgrounds.
• Support safeguarding and welfare of pupils during supervision.

Ideally, candidates will have a first aid certificate but if not, a willingness to undertake first aid training.

The hours of work are 6 hours 15 minutes per week, 12:00pm to 1:15pm, Monday to Friday, term time only, worked in accordance with service requirements.
