Location: Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire
Salary: £13.60 - £14.20 per hour(Depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Part-time, Term-time only

GSL Education is currently recruiting a Midday Supervisor to join a friendly and welcoming school in Scunthorpe. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to play an important role in creating a safe, happy, and inclusive lunchtime environment.

Main Responsibilities:

Supervise pupils in the dining hall, playground, and other areas during the lunch period.

Encourage positive behaviour and good table manners among students.

Support and engage with pupils to promote social interaction and inclusion.

Deal with minor incidents or accidents calmly and appropriately.

Work with school staff to maintain a safe and pleasant environment for all pupils.

Requirements:

Experience working with children (in a school or childcare setting) is desirable.

A caring, patient, and reliable attitude.

Ability to communicate effectively with children and colleagues.

A positive and proactive approach to maintaining a safe environment.

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
