Job summary

Avanti Park School in Frome is seeking a Midday Supervisor to support pupils at lunchtimes across the dining room, playground and other school areas. You will help maintain health, safety and wellbeing, encouraging positive behaviour and providing a calm, supportive presence during lunchtime.

This part-time role (10 hours per week) is paid pro rata with Grade 1 salary, and includes safeguarding responsibilities and the opportunity to contribute to a caring school community.

  • Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of children.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise pupils during lunchtime in dining room and playground.
  • Encourage positive, cooperative behaviour and act as a positive role model.
  • Respond to accidents, injuries, illnesses or safeguarding concerns following policy.
  • Monitor and report behaviour and safety concerns to staff.
  • Follow school policies and participate in relevant training.
