Job summary

Cotmanhay Infant and Nursery School in the East Midlands is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic Midday Supervisor to join our lunchtime team.

Duties include supervising children during lunch, encouraging active play, and ensuring welfare and safety. The successful candidate will build excellent relationships with children, the midday team and staff, and be willing to learn and undertake training as required.

Hours are 12:25 - 1:35, Monday to Friday. Provisional Interview Date: 7 October 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising children at school or childcare preferred.
• Ability to promote safe play and welfare.
• Strong communication with children and staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during lunch period.
• Encourage active play and safe lunchtime behavior.
• Help with settling children and managing routines.
