Job summary

Remedy Education is recruiting a Midday Meal Supervisor for a mainstream primary school in Woodford Green. This part-time, long-term role runs Monday to Friday 12:00pm–1:30pm, starting September. You’ll help supervise lunchtime, ensure safety, and support pupils in the dining hall and playground.

The ideal candidate is patient, approachable, and able to build positive relationships with children while maintaining clear boundaries. Prior school experience is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school or similar setting.
• Patient, friendly and approachable.
• Can communicate confidently with primary-aged children.
• Good behaviour management skills.
• Reliable, punctual and able to commit to Monday-Friday.
• Calm and professional when dealing with challenging situations.
• Safeguarding and children's welfare seriously.
• Happy working both indoors and outdoors.

Responsibilities

Midday Meal Supervisor - September Start

Remedy Education is currently looking for a reliable and caring Midday Meal Supervisor to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Woodford Green from September.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants a role that fits around school hours. You will be responsible for helping to ensure pupils have a safe, happy and enjoyable lunchtime, both in the dining area and outside in the playground.

The school is looking for someone who is approachable, confident and able to build positive relationships with children while maintaining clear boundaries.

The Role

As a Midday Meal Supervisor, you will:
