Job summary

A primary school for children with SEND is seeking a Midday Meal Supervisor to support pupils during meal times. Ideal candidates will have experience with children with special educational needs, possess excellent communication skills, and be calm and patient. You will contribute to a nurturing environment that promotes individual growth and respect for diversity.

Qualifications

  • Experience of working with pupils with a wide range of SEND.
  • Calm, patient, and sense of humour.
  • Ability to contribute to the development of the Elm Court Livity Federation.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Midday Meal Supervisors sought for SEND school in Streatham

Salary: NJC Scale 1/2 - points 2 to 4 (£28881 to £29703 per annum) - pro rata for both part-time hours and part-year working

Hours: 12.5 hours per week

Year Round? No - 39 weeks per year (during school terms)

Permanent? Yes

Job Description

The Livity School is a primary school for children aged 2 to 11 with severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties, autism and complex medical needs.

We aim to provide a creative and practical learning environment where pupils are motivated to achieve ambitious goals in all areas of the curriculum.

We are seeking to recruit additional midday meal supervisors at The Livity School from Autumn Term 2025 due to an expansion in pupil numbers.

  • The ability to contribute to the further development of the Elm Court Livity Federation
  • Excellent communication skills
