Job summary

White Notley C of E Primary School is seeking a Midday Assistant to join our friendly team. The role is 11:30–13:30, Monday to Friday, 10 hours per week, term-time (38 weeks). The appointee will help in the lunch hall, set up and clear away tables, assist children with lunches and ensure the hall is clean for the afternoon.

Applicants should have good communication skills, be able to work as part of a team and show initiative. An Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references are required.

• Reliable, punctual and able to follow safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the lunch hall: set up and tidy tables, serve meals and drinks.
• Support children with their lunches and clean up after lunch period.
• Ensure the hall is tidy and ready for the afternoon session.

We are looking for a Midday Assistant to join our lovely small school team. You will be helping our team to cover the lunch hall putting out and tidying away the tables, setting up drinks and salad bar items, helping the children with their lunches,tidying away and ensuring the hall is clean for the afternoon.

Successful applicants must possess good communication skills, be able to work as part of a team and show initiative.

Appointments will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references. We are diligent in our commitment to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
