Job summary

Oasis Academy Pinewood is seeking an enthusiastic Midday Assistant to support children during lunch and outdoor activities, ensuring a rich and inclusive lunchtime experience. This fixed-term role runs until 22 July 2027 (with potential renewal for the right candidate), 6.25 hours per week, term-time only, starting 1 December 2026.

About The Role

Role: Midday Assistant

Location: Oasis Academy Pinewood

Salary: Scale 2 (3-5) Outer London / £29,562-£30,408 FTE / £4,185-£4,304 actual

Hours: 6.25 hours per week (1 hour 15 mins per day) / Monday-Friday / Term time only

Contract: Fixed Term until 22nd July 2027 (with possibility of renewal for right candidate)

Start date: 1st December 2026

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated midday assistant. You must have a real passion for working with children to create a rich, inclusive and balanced environment. You will be positive, passionate and enthusiastic with the ability to instil these qualities in our students. We are looking for a midday assistant who has the attitudes and skills to support our children to achieve their absolute best. Children learn best when outdoors and active so a large part of your time will be spent outside supporting children’s learning and play in our lovely outdoor areas as well as in the dinner hall while the children have their lunch.
