Job summary

BROOMWOOD PRIMARY SCHOOL is seeking a Midday Assistant to join our team at Timperley, Altrincham. The role involves supporting the children’s independence during lunch, supervising EYFS and KS1 pupils during lunchtime play, and encouraging outdoor play activities.

It also includes light cleaning and promoting a caring lunchtime environment. The position is fixed-term until the end of the academic year, with term-time hours.

8.75 hours per week, 1.75 hrs per day, 11.30 pm to 1.15 pm

Band 1 pt 3 Annual Full-Time Salary £25,614
Actual Pro-rata Salary £5,181 based on term-time only

We are looking for a new midday to help maintain our caring environment at lunchtime. The role involves supporting the children’s independence with their eating in the dining room as well as light cleaning. It also involves supervising children across EYFS and KS1 during their lunch play and encouraging outdoor play activities.
