A local government authority in the UK is seeking a Regional Transport Programme Manager to lead the delivery of the Regional Transport Plan for Mid Wales. This role involves managing stakeholders, overseeing resources, and ensuring alignment with national transport policies. The ideal candidate should have experience in transport planning, strong leadership abilities, and excellent communication skills.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and committed individual to lead the development and delivery of the Regional Transport Programme for Mid Wales.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape and coordinate the implementation of the Regional Transport Delivery Plan across Ceredigion and Powys, working in close partnership with Transport for Wales, Welsh Government, and Local Authority officers to deliver integrated, sustainable transport solutions for the region.
As the Regional Transport Programme Manager, you will lead the coordination and delivery of the Regional Transport Plan and Delivery Plan for the Mid Wales Corporate Joint Committee. You will be responsible for programme planning, stakeholder engagement, resource management, and reporting, ensuring alignment with national transport policy and funding cycles.
You will work collaboratively with Welsh Government, Transport for Wales, and local authority teams to develop and maintain delivery schedules, monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure quality assurance across the programme. Your leadership will be key in promoting integration across transport services and enabling the “One Network, One Timetable, One Ticket, One Team” vision.
