Job summary

Citi is hiring a Mid-Level UX Designer in Belfast. You will work with Product and Engineering to craft high-quality digital experiences, from ideation through high-fidelity design.

You’ll apply your UX skills across the design process, leveraging Figma and our Design System to deliver delightful user experiences. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of UX design experience, strong communication, and a passion for accessible, user-centered design.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of UX design experience in enterprise-scale or consumer projects.
• Proficient with industry tools: Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision.
• Experience with Design Systems and AI-enabled design tools.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with research, stakeholders, product managers and engineering to brainstorm and co-create ideas and solutions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma and our Design System.
• Ensure designs follow best practices and are informed by research and testing.
• Deliver high-quality design assets to engineering with clear guidance.
• Provide ongoing UX review checkpoints to ensure quality and alignment with design intent.
• Stay up-to-date with UX practices, innovations, and accessibility standards.
