What will I be bringing to life in this role?
  • Develop features across the full stack of the application, including the database, web services and front end.
  • Lead a small squad of developers and QA to deliver features to a high quality.
  • Review features provided by stakeholders, suggesting any changes and validate feasibility.
  • Assist and provide guidance to the sales team to enable new sales.
  • Work with the support team to resolve issues with customers.
  • Actively suggest improvements to working practices and processes.
What will I need to hit the ground running?

Essential skills and experience you’ll need:

  • Experienced in C# and .NET
  • Comfortable with SQL Server, database design, development and optimisation.
  • Experienced with the Angular framework and related web technologies such as HTML, CSS and TypeScript.
  • Being able to work with Web API web services.
  • Awareness of security issues, guidelines (OWASP) and mitigations of those issues.
  • Appetite to learn and improve, keeping on top of new technology developments.

Desirable skills/experience:

  • Ability to lead small teams to deliver functionality to a deadline.
  • Experience working with and migrating large legacy systems.
  • Experience of Azure Pipelines and MSBuild.
  • Experience working with ASP.NET MVC.
  • Knowledge of WCF Services.
  • Experience in, WinForms/WPF.
  • Understanding of web accessibility and considerations around responsive web applications.
  • Understanding of localisation issues when developing for multiple markets around the world.
