Job summary

Pertemps is seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer in London with 2–4 years of building services experience. You will contribute to mechanical building services designs across commercial, healthcare and residential sectors, while developing technical and client-facing skills.

You’ll work under Chartered engineers, gain exposure to project delivery and full lifecycle activities, and have a clear path towards Senior Engineer. Hybrid London office and client site involvement offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Building Services Engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years' Building Services experience.
• Experience delivering mechanical building services projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and delivery of mechanical building services projects.
• Produce design calculations, reports and specifications.
• Support drawings and engineering designs.
• Carry out HVAC, ventilation, heating and cooling calculations.
• Coordinate with other disciplines.
• Attend client meetings and design reviews.
• Site visits, surveys and inspections.
• Support project delivery from concept to completion.
• Ensure designs meet regulations and standards.
• Assist senior engineers with problem solving.
