You will develop and optimize control algorithms, simulate performance, and support deployment for peak system reliability. Ideal candidates have a relevant degree, expertise in advanced control approaches, and hands-on experience with linear motors. This role offers a salary of £40K-£50K and interviews starting in early 2026.

Qualifications

  • A relevant degree or equivalent industrial experience.
  • Expertise in advanced control approaches for vibrations, including adaptive control techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with linear motors and drives.
  • Proficiency in simulation work using Python or similar tools.
  • Experience with experimental validation and implementation of control systems.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and optimising a range of control algorithms.
  • Simulating and analysing predicted control performance to ensure system reliability.
  • Designing and conducting physical tests on internal test platforms.
  • Supporting the deployment of control systems for customers.
  • Preparing and maintaining technical reports and test documentation.
  • Collaborating closely with the technical team and providing updates.
