Job summary

William James Recruitment is guiding a mid-level Commercial Disputes Solicitor to join its London office at an exciting growth phase. You will work on complex, high-value disputes, including cross-border matters, with significant responsibility and autonomy.

Working alongside senior litigators, you will manage workstreams, contribute to case strategy, and develop client relationships while upholding the highest standards of advocacy and analysis.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years' PQE in commercial disputes or group litigation
• Training from a top City/Magic Circle or comparable firm
• Strong experience in commercial disputes or group litigation and High Court litigation
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong academics and analytical skills
• Able to manage multiple deadlines and complex matters with a proactive, commercially minded approach

Responsibilities

• Work on a range of complex commercial litigation matters, including High Court/Commercial Court proceedings
• Take meaningful ownership of workstreams and aspects of cases, with exposure to case strategy, client management and litigation conduct
• Collaborate with senior lawyers while maintaining autonomy and progressing matters effectively
