RAC is seeking a Mid-Level Backend Software Engineer to join our Digital Product and Technology team in Bristol. You’ll design, build, and evolve systems powering our digital services using .NET Core, C#, SQL, Azure, and Kubernetes.

This role emphasizes ownership of technical design, delivering scalable solutions, and contributing to a modern technology landscape. You’ll work in a collaborative product team, shaping projects from concept through delivery, and help improve code quality while

Qualifications

• Experience building backend services using .NET Core and C#.
• Hands-on with SQL databases and data modelling.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud and container orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Develop high quality software and architecture.
• Troubleshoot operational and integration issues.
• Write clean, maintainable code with attention to quality.
• Stay current with new technologies and ensure fit for purpose.
• Develop with .NET Core, C#, SQL; and Azure/Kubernetes.
• Aim to own technical debt and improve priorities.
