Real Technical Solutions is seeking a Microsoft AI & Automation Platform Engineer to own and govern a large enterprise automation ecosystem. The role focuses on Power Platform, Copilot Studio, M365 and Intelligent Automation platforms, with hybrid work and enterprise-scale responsibilities.

- Collaborate with architecture and security teams to rollout Copilot-driven solutions.

Salary: £67,500 - £72,500 + Benefits and Bonus
Working Pattern: Hybrid, Minimum 1 per week, ideally 2 days onsite per week.

Working within the Process & Automation Centre of Excellence, you'll take hands on ownership and administration of core platforms like Power Platform & Co-pilot ensuring they're secure, scalable.
You'll partner closely with architecture and security teams to define standards, improve performance, and support the rollout of AI, Automation and Copilot-driven solutions.
This role combines hands-on platform engineering with strategic input, giving you real influence over how automation and AI are adopted across the business.
- Strong experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365 Admin, Power Platform Admin, Agent 365)
- Background in RPA/automation platforms + Dataverse & Fabric
- Understanding of security principles (DLP, RBAC, Purview)
- Ability to manage enterprise environments (performance, resilience, support)
- Experience producing technical standards and documentation
- MS-102
- Microsoft certifications (PL-200, PL-400, PL-600)
- Experience with Copilot Studio or conversational AI
- Knowledge of Azure OpenAI/RAG solutions
- Familiarity with Dataverse, Graph, or enterprise systems
- Exposure to monitoring and observability tools
- Interest in emerging technology and innovation
- Familiarity of AI/Copilot capabilities and governance
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft AI & Automation Platform Engineer to play a key role in shaping, managing and governing an enterprise-scale automation ecosystem.
This is a hands-on platform engineering role focused on the ownership, administration, optimisation and governance of Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365 and Intelligent Automation platforms within a large enterprise environment.
You will work as part of a newly established Process Engineering & Intelligent Automation Centre of Excellence, helping define platform strategy, establish governance standards and ensure automation technologies are secure, scalable and aligned with business objectives.
This role requires someone who can think beyond individual solutions and projects, taking an enterprise-wide view of platform architecture, adoption, governance and long-term platform strategy.
