Job summary

Randstad Construction and Property seeks a Laboratory Technician for our microbiology manufacturing team in Dartford. This is a 6-month, full-time contract with a day shift from 08:00 to 16:00 onsite.

No prior specialized experience is required as full training will be provided. You will prepare reagents, perform in-process testing, and ensure compliance with quality standards and SOPs while maintaining accurate batch documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have strong interest in science and manufacturing.
• High attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Good written and verbal communication abilities.
• Willingness to learn new processes and maintain high standards.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture intermediates and final reagents, including in-process quality testing.
• Safely handle microorganisms for testing procedures.
• Maintain high quality standards and complete batch documentation accurately.
• Monitor inventory and stock levels using computerized systems.
• Follow all site health, safety, and PPE requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training.
