South East Water is seeking a Microbiology Analyst to perform routine microbiological testing and data interpretation within our Laboratory Management System. You will work across Microbiology and Cryptosporidium sections, maintain equipment, log data, and deliver dependable testing services for both South East Water and commercial clients.

The role involves 4 days on, 4 days off, with shifts between 16:00 and 03:00.

Qualificações

• NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a scientific subject or similar.
• Willingness to work towards full membership of a professional body.
• Excellent numeracy, literacy, computer literacy and laboratory skills for robust laboratory practice.
• Experience with good laboratory practice.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine microbiological testing and data interpretation in line with LMS.
• Maintain analytical equipment and assist with maintenance/troubleshooting.
• Log data, document information in daily logs and ensure timely data entry into LIMS.
• Ensure sample stability and turnaround times for analyses.
• Prepare standards, reagents and QC samples per internal procedures.
• Contribute toward CPD and professional development.
