About the role

As MiCare Nurse under the direction of the Assistant Team Manager, you will enhance health and social care support for MiCare service users in line with Rutland County Council policies, objectives, and standards. This role is central to promoting independence, enabling choice and control, and preventing unnecessary hospital or care home admissions.

Key responsibilities
  • Support the development of a neighbourhood and prevention agenda through a strong multi‑disciplinary team (MDT) approach.
  • Provide clinical advice and support to the MiCare Team as required.
  • Deliver training on delegated healthcare tasks to staff.
  • Build effective links with GP surgeries and community nursing teams to ensure a holistic approach for individuals using the service.
  • Contribute to care planning that prioritises independence and well‑being.

Salary: £32,061 to £38,220 a year with LGPS pension contribution.
Contract: Permanent, Part‑time.
