A leading mental health organization based in London is seeking a Clinical or Educational Psychologist to supervise Education Mental Health Practitioners and contribute to service development. You will work closely with schools and families to enhance accessibility to mental health services. This role offers a salary range from £56,276 to £63,176 per year, and flexibility in working arrangements.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical or Educational Psychologist, Arts, Occupational or Systemic Therapist with a background of working with education settings and/or experience in child and adolescent mental health, to work within a growing multi‑disciplinary Mental Health Support in Schools Team (MHST). You will use your knowledge, skills, and experience to supervise trainee and qualified Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHP) and contribute to the general service development and functioning.
You will also work closely with families, as well as colleagues in CAMHS, the Local Authority, education settings and other local services.
You will be required to undertake, complete and pass the supervisors course at Kings (KCL) and will need to complete an application for the course alongside this job application. The course is based at Kings College London, based online or at the Denmark Hill campus and will commence in 2025.
We are an early intervention service supporting mild to moderate mental health needs in 60 primary and secondary schools across Lewisham. Our service will be expanding to more schools in 2026. The team currently consists of 2 Clinical Leads and 4 Team Leads. As a Team Lead you would oversee the work of senior well‑being and link practitioners, 4 Education Mental Health Practitioners and trainees.
Our main office is at Kaleidoscope, and we also work across several MHST schools in Lewisham. We offer flexibility and home working.
