A prominent healthcare provider in Greater London is seeking a qualified Education Mental Health Practitioner to manage a caseload, deliver school activities, and provide clinical supervision. Candidates should have the EMHP Postgraduate Diploma and related professional registration. The position promotes diversity and aims to create an inclusive environment. This role provides an excellent opportunity to support children's mental health in educational settings.
• This is an opportunity for qualified Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHPs) who will be two years post-qualification by January 2026.
• You will have completed the one-year EMHP Postgraduate Diploma
• You will hold professional registration with either the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) or the British Psychological Society (BPS).
The post holder will be expected to complete the requirements of the 2-year Senior Wellbeing Practitioner Post Graduate Diploma at Kings College London to enable progression to a fully qualified Senior Wellbeing Practitioner.
The KCL CYP MH Low Intensity Advanced Practice PGDip Course (for Senior Wellbeing Practitioners) start date is Monday 26th January 2026.
Applicants will need to apply simultaneously with KCL for this training course. The university portals are open until the 25 of November 2025. If a candidate has not applied to the university before the portal closing date, then they will be ineligible for the course.

Lewisham MHST is a growing service designed to help meet the mental health needs of CYP in education settings. As an early intervention service, the MHST delivers interventions in schools for those with mild to moderate mental health issues and supports schools with developing their whole school approach to mental health and wellbeing. The team will also help CYP with more severe needs access the right support, working with schools to provide a link to specialist NHS services.
Working with schools to improve mental health outcomes for children and young people, including planning and delivering activities as part of a whole school/college approach, providing assessment and intervention using evidence-based approaches and providing guided signposting and liaison with other services. Providing supervision to qualified and or trainee EMHPs
