Job summary

A leading logistics provider in Lichfield is looking for a MHE trained team member to assist in training and assessing other users of MHE. The role requires strong organisational and communication skills, along with the ability to work night shifts from 22:00 to 06:00. Successful candidates will receive full training to become a recognized trainer. Competitive salary up to £28,000 and generous benefits are offered.

Job description

We are looking for a MHE trained team member to undertake all MHE training, examinations and associated duties and responsibilities at our site in Lichfield.

The successful candidate will receive full training and refresher training as required to become a recognized trainer / instructor. Typically you will work Sunday through Thursday, covering the hours 22:00 till 06:00.

We're looking to offer a salary of up to £28,000 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:
  • To assist in training, assessing and re-assessing all users of MHE.
  • To assist in maintaining accurate testing andcertification recordsliasingwith the TrainingDepartment.
  • To ensure the profile of the site is maintained to the very highest standard.
  • To be responsible for the Health and Safety of themselves and other operatives by adhering to safe working practices.
What you need to be succeed at GXO:
  • You will currently hold OR be willing to train to RTITB /ITSAAR standards - qualification lasts 5 years
  • Have sound working knowledge of the interactionbetween their own department and other key functions
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage owntime
  • Very good written and verbal communication skills andwell-developed presentation skills
  • Confident and competent in the use of Microsoft office applications (eg; Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook)
