Job summary

A leading IT infrastructure services provider is seeking an experienced Shift Engineer to ensure high maintenance standards at their Hatfield office. The role includes electrical maintenance of material handling equipment, fault finding, and responding to breakdowns. The candidate must have an electrical background, experience with PLCs, and a solid understanding of Health & Safety principles. This position requires working onsite 5 days a week in a shift pattern and offers a collaborative work environment focused on teamwork.

Qualifications

• Qualified technician with strong electrical background
• Experience maintaining automated materials handling equipment
• Health & Safety qualification or training required

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance of material handling equipment
• Conduct fault finding and testing of PLC and three-phase equipment
• Respond to machine faults and conduct planned maintenance
• Manage task sheets and stock control
